Kosmados (Κοσμάδος) Chios
Kosmados is a small village in the Regional Unit of Chios in the North Aegean Region, on the island of Chios, in its northern part, with a population of 16 inhabitants (2011 census) [1]. It is built at an average altitude of 280 meters above sea level, at a road distance of about 68 kilometers northwest of the city of Chios.
Geography-demography
With latitudes 38 ° 34΄ North and length 25 ° 53 μή East, Kosmados is one of the northernmost villages of Chios. The nearest settlements-villages are Nenitouria, located just 750 meters west-northwest and lower, and Kourounia 2.2 km (6 km) to the east. The minimum distance from the sea is also 2.2 km in a straight line, to the north.
Administratively, Kosmados currently belongs to the local community of Nenitourion (it is its only settlement except for Nenitouria), of the Municipal Unit of Amani of the Municipality of Chios, in the Regional Unit of Chios of the North Aegean Region. The postal code of the village is 82103.
