Lykorema (Λυκόρεμα) Karditsa

Lykorema is a lowland village of Karditsa at an altitude of 130 meters [1] [2], which is located to the northeastern borders of the prefecture with the prefecture of Trikala. It is built near the river Enipeas, between the villages of Vlochos (SW), Farkadona (NW) and Pineiada (NE). It is 8 km north of Palamas, 34 km northwest of Trikala and 30.5 km NE. of Karditsa. It is officially reported in 1961 to be annexed to the then community of Vlochos. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Vlochos, they constitute the local community of Vlochos that belongs to the municipal unit of Palamas of the municipality of Palamas and according to the 2011 census has a population of 22 inhabitants [4].
