Koutsodimos (Κουτσοδήμος) Karditsa

Koutsodimos is a village in the Regional Unit of Karditsa at an altitude of 830 meters [1] [2].

Geography - Sights

Koutsodimos is located west of the artificial lake Plastira, between the villages of Kryoneri (NW) and Kalyvia Fylaktis (N.), at a distance of 10 km SW. from Morfovouni (seat of the municipality) and 27.5 km D.-ND. from Karditsa. In the village there are rooms for rent, hotels and a gas station. As a settlement, it is officially mentioned for the first time in 1981 that it was annexed to the then community of Kryoneri [3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Kryoneri and Prosilia, they constitute the local community of Kryoneri, which belongs to the municipal unit of Nevropolis, Agrafa, in the municipality of Lake Plastira, and according to the 2011 census, has a population of 78 inhabitants.
