Kalyvia (Καλύβια) Karditsa
Kalyvia is a settlement of the Local Community of Pezoula of the Municipality of Lake Plastira in the Prefecture of Karditsa, as it was established according to the Kallikratis Program. From 1999 to 2010, according to the Kapodistrias Plan, they belonged administratively to D.D. Pezoulas of the Municipality of Nevropolis, Agrafa. It is a developing settlement with many cottages. It is located 42 km southwest of Karditsa and has a population of 223, according to the 2011 census. [1] Prior to the creation of the lake, the inhabitants of the settlement worked in the fields of Nevropolis and maintained their huts here; from their existence, the area got its name.
