Makrychoria (Μακρυχώρια) Aitoloakarnania
Makrychoria is a settlement of Kechrinia in the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania [1].
Geography - History
Makrychoria is located northeast of Lake Amvrakia at a distance of 9.5 km A. from Amfilochia and 8 km North-West. from Kechrinia. It is officially mentioned for the first time in 1991 that it belongs to the then community of Kechrinia [2]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with the settlements of Kechrinia, Kompothekla, Kanalos, Agioi Theodoroi and Falangia, they constitute the Local Community of Kechrinia which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Amfilochia of the Municipality of Amfilochia and according to the 2011 census] has a population of 3 [31 inhabitants].
