Dromitsa (Δρομίτσα) Aitoloakarnania
Dromitsa, also known as Dromista, is a small and almost uninhabited mountain village in the Peripheral Unit of Etoloakarnania [1] which is located northwest of Messolonghi, in the old province of Valtos and is about 55 km from Agrinio. The village is built at an altitude of 640 [1] meters located at the ends of the Prefectures of Etoloakarnania, Karditsa, Arta and Evritania. According to the 2011 census, the village has 5 inhabitants. Administratively, together with Neo Agridi and Kaminos, they constitute the local community of Agridi, which belongs to the municipal unit of Inachos of the Municipality of Amfilochia [2], while previously it belongs to the municipality of Inachos.
About her name
There are two names for this village. Formerly, before 1940, it was called Dromista. From 16/10/1940 it is called Dromitsa [3].
