Paliampela (Παλιάμπελα) Aitoloakarnania
Paliampela is a semi-mountainous village in the Peripheral Unit of Etoloakarnania at an altitude of 150 meters [1].
Geography - History
Paliampela is located west of the Inachos River before reaching the artificial lake of Kastraki. It is officially mentioned for the first time in 1940 that it belongs to the then community of Statha [2]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with the settlement of Giannopoulos, they constitute the Local Community of Giannopoulo, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Inachos of the Municipality of Amfilochia and according to the 2011 census has a population of 124 inhabitants [3].

In Aitoloakarnania there are the synonymous settlements: Paliampela Anaktoriou and Paliampela Neokastrou
