Pavlos (Παύλος) Voiotia
Pavlos (or Pavlos) is a village in the Municipality of Orchomenos in the prefecture of Viotia. It is located, northwest of Orchomenos, in a small basin between hills. The population of the village, according to the 2011 Census, is 1,186 inhabitants. To the north of the village was the ancient Boeotian town of Psittos and to the west was Aspledona.
History
Paul was first inhabited in the 17th century and took his name from a cattle breeder who kept an inn or simply had his hut in the area. It was the seat of the community from 1912-1998, and then joined the municipality of Orchomenos, where it remains to this day. [2]
