Mavroneri (Μαυρονέριον) Karditsa
The settlement of Mavroneri belongs to the Local Community of Kallifoni, which it forms with the settlement of Kallifoni in the Municipal Unit of Kallifoni of the Municipality of Karditsa. The settlement is inhabited by Sarakatsani.
According to oral histories of the deceased, the settlement, after passing through Greek territory after the departure of the Turks in the 19th century, was bought by a Greek tseliga with the surname Beis and thus the first houses for the family were built.
