Livadaki (Λιβαδάκι) Aitoloakarnania
Livadaki is a mountain village in the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania. It is built at an altitude of 1,160 meters on the western slopes of Vardousia and is one of the most mountainous villages in Etoloakarnania. The old name of the village until 1930 was Avorani [1] [2].
Livadaki belongs to the municipality of Platanos and its population according to the 2001 census is 52 inhabitants.
The original village was built on the right bank of the Evinos, in today's Old Avorani or Ampelia, and was moved to its current location due to the increase in the village's population during the Turkish occupation and the lack of drinking water around 1575.
In the village there is a festival on the 15th of August.
