Agnanta (Greek: Άγναντα ) is a village and a former municipality in the Arta peripheral unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Central Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit.[1]

Division of the municipality

Katarraktis is a small mountain village part of the synonymous municipal district. Katarraktis is the greek name for "waterfall" which exist in the region and the reason of the name of the village.

Kato Graikiko (Κάτω Γραικικό ) is a mountain village (alt. 900 m) on the SW side of the Tzoumerka mountain., until 1927 it was known as Grestista. Near the village is the monastery Panagias Chrysospiliotisas ("of the golden cave", named after a cave where according to a legend a icon of Panagia was found). The monastery was founded in the 11th century and was rebuild in 1663. Some wallpaintings although not well preserved are from the year 1801.
