Koukkoulia (Κουκκούλια) Arta

Koukkoulia is a settlement in the municipality of Central Tzoumerka in the prefecture of Arta in the region of Epirus in Greece. It belongs to the municipal unit of Agnantos and was part of the Kapodistrian municipality of Agnantos in 1997-2010.

In 2001 it had a population of 306 inhabitants. The village earlier known as Koukoulista was renamed Koukkoulia with P.D. of 1 April 1927, Government Gazette A76 / 1927 [1] [2].

The village is located at an altitude of 700 meters. In the center square of the village is the church Koimisis tis Theotokou It is the only village that belongs to the local community of Koukkoulia [3].
