Prefecture Trikala, Pynda Municipality

Pynda (Greek: Πύνδα) is a former municipality in the Trikala peripheral unit, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pyli, of which it is a municipal unit.[1] Population 2,136 (2001). The seat of the municipality was in Stournaraiika.

Division of the municipality.

Stournaraika is a mountain village (alt. c. 850 m). Kosmas o Aitolos was in Stournaraika for some time and also the leader of ELAS Aris Velouchiotis.
