Katharovouni (Καθαροβούνι) Arta
Katharovouni is an uninhabited settlement of the Municipality of Arta, in the mountains of Arta, at an altitude of 234 meters and is about 30 kilometers from the city. [1] [2]
According to the Kapodistrias Plan, Katharovouni existed until the end of 2010, a settlement of the Municipality of Xirovouni based in Ammotopos. Based on the new administrative division provided by the Kallikratis Plan, the settlement was included in the Municipality of Arta. [3] Katharovouni together with Sumesi, Ammos, Perdikari and Rodavgi form the local community of Rodavgi with a total population of 390 inhabitants.
Administrative changes
The settlement was recognized in 1940 and joined the community of Nisista, New Greece (Rodavgi). In 1997 he joined the municipality of Xirovouni and in 2010 the municipality of Arta. [4]
Location and Access
Katharovouni is adjacent to the settlements of the local community of Rodavgi. [5]
