Kapnoanthos (Καπνόανθος) Xanthi
Kapnoanthos is an uninhabited mountain village of Thrace in the Regional Unit of Xanthi [1] at an altitude of 563 meters [2], which is located at a distance of about 17 km E.-NE. from Sminthi (seat of the municipality) and 32 km NE. from Xanthi (via Kentavros). It is culturally included in Pomakochoria of Xanthi (as well as all of the area) [3] and was formerly referred to as Ceper dag [4]. As a separate settlement, it is officially mentioned for the first time in 1961 that it was recorded in the then community of Mycenae. [5] According to the Kallikratis Plan, it belongs to the municipal unit of Myki of the Municipality of Myki and according to the 2011 census, it does not have permanent residents [6].
