Kalyvia (Greek: Καλύβια) is a village in Laconia, Greece, located on the Bay of Skoutari. It is part of the municipal unit Gytheio. It is on the beach, and its economy is based on olives, olive oil and fishing. The town has a plateia and a cafe. It has a population of 50. Kalyvia is linked by a road encircling the Mani Peninsula from Vatheia. Farmlands and forests cover the valley areas around the village, although the greater surrounding area is hilly scrubland.
