Amfipoli (Greek: Αμφίπολη) is village part of the synonymous municipality in the Serres Prefecture, Greece, named after the ancient city Amphipolis (with information about the important city). Population of the municipality 3623 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Palaiokomi.

In the past Kerdylia was known as Krousovai (plural used for two settlements Ano and Kato Kerdylia, (upper and lower Kerdylia), Kato Kerdylia destroyed 1941 by the Germans, 17 October with 250 boys and men 15 to 70 years old executed.
