Pantoukios (Παντουκιός) Chios
Pantoukios, also known as Pantoukeios, is a small coastal village and natural port of the Regional Unit of Chios, on the island of Chios, in its northeastern part, with a population of 48 inhabitants (2011 census) [1]. It is built at an average altitude of 5 meters above sea level, at a road distance of 13 kilometers north of the city of Chios.
Geography-demography
The geographical coordinates of Pantoukios, are 38 ° 28΄ wide and 26 ° 08΄ long East. The nearest village is Sykiada, to the west (1 km in a straight line), of which Pantoukios is the port. Pantoukios is built in the innards of the homonymous bay (West Pantoukios bay) with an exit to the east-northeast. The inhabitants of Pantouki are mainly engaged in fishing, while in summer its fish taverns serve several tourists. Next to the shore, in the sea, a spring of fresh water gushes. [2]
Administratively, Pantoukios currently belongs to the local community of Sykiada (its only settlement beyond Sykia itself), of the Municipal Unit of Omiroupoli of the Municipality of Chios, in the Regional Unit of Chios of the North Aegean Region. Formerly, completely respectively, it belonged to the community of Sykiada, the District and the Prefecture of Chios. The postal code of the village is 82300.

In the village there is a small church of Agios Nikolaos and the Cultural Association of Pantoukios "O Agios Nikolaos" is active.
