Administrative changes
In 1991, in the census, the settlement was recognized and annexed to the community of Apeirathos (seat of Aperathos). [4]
In 1997, with the implementation of the Kapodistrias program (law 2539/97), the community of Aperathou was abolished and the settlement was annexed to the newly established municipality of Drymalia, based in the settlement of Chalkeio. [5]
In 2010, with the implementation of the Kallikratis program (law 3852/2010), the municipality of Drymalia is abolished and the settlement is annexed to the newly established municipality of Naxos & Small Cyclades. [6] Specifically, with the Kapodistrias program, it belonged to the Municipal Department of Aperathos, of the Municipality of Drymalia, of the prefecture of Cyclades, to the geographical department of the Aegean Islands. [3]
Today, after the last change of 2010 (Kallikratis program), it constitutes together with the settlements of Azala (29 km), Aperathos (722 k.), Kanaki (14 k.), Kleido (24 k.), Lygaridia (23 k. .) and Moutsouna (84 k.) the municipal community of Aperathou (904 k.). The d.k. Aperathou belongs to the municipal unit of Drymalia, the municipality of Naxos and the Small Cyclades, the regional unit of Naxos (the former prefecture of Cyclades), in the region of South Aegean. Notes
On maps, tourist and other forms, the name Panormos is also found, which is probably not the correct one. In official documents, such as those of the censuses, Panermos is written.
