The Pagasetic Gulf
The Pagasetic Gulf (39°13′ N 23°00′ E) is a rounded gulf in the prefecture of Magnesia (east central Greece) that is formed by the Mt. Pelion peninsula. It is connected with the Euboic Sea. The passage in to the Euboic Sea is narrow and is about 4 km.
The area of the Pagasetic Gulf is c. 175 km2. Maximum depth 102 m.
Its main port is Volos.
