Karavados (Καραβάδος) Kefalonia

Karavados is a village in the prefecture of Kefalonia with 244 inhabitants in 2001. It is also a homonymous municipal district in the municipality of Livathos. It is 12 km from Argostoli. St. Thomas Beach [1] is the most important attraction. It consists of two sandy beaches and a place with natural stone slab, making it ideal for lovers of fishing and diving. The settlement has hotels and general tourist infrastructure. The church in the center of the village has Venetian features.

The natural stone slab on the beach of Agios Thomas has an aluminum staircase for bathers. Because the water is relatively shallow, great care must be taken when diving.
