Sights
The old stone oil mill "Kollia's mill" from the middle of the 19th century has been classified as a historical monument because it "presents a special architectural interest and is one of the few special-purpose buildings that have survived in the area and is a typical point of reference for the Karystia area , where the production of oil was the most important element of the economic life of the inhabitants".[5]

It is officially mentioned, after the Revolution of 1821 and the integration of Evia, as a separate settlement in 1889 in Official Gazette 251A - 04/10/1889 to be annexed to the then municipality of Karystos.[6] According to the Kallikratis program, along with Mekounida and Rouklia, they form the local community of Grampia, which is part of the municipal unit of Grampia of the Municipality of Karystos, and according to the 2011 census, as a community it has a population of 266 inhabitants, while as a settlement it has 174[7].
