Elymnioi (Greek: Ελύμνιοι) is a municipality in Euboea, Greece. Population 5648 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Limni.
Limni, according to Greek mythology (Strabo) was the marriage place of Zeus and Hera. Their temple and that of Apollo was destroyed by an earthquake in 426 BC. The women monastery Agiou Nikolaou Galataki is build on the place of the Apollo temple, c. 10 km from Limni.

Chronia part of the municipal district of Limni was founded by refuges from Minor Asia.
Kechries is a village of Elymnioi, it was in the past owned by Angelos Tombatzis, after the Greek war of independence. Earlier it was like other places in Greece owner by an Ottoman. Dafni part of the municipal district of Kechries was known in the past as Mantanika.
Kourkouloi is a mountain village , formed after attacks by pirates. The villagers found a place that offered a better protection, probably for this reason it is called Kourkouloi (a turkish word for hunted people )
Rovies is a village named after the ancient place Orobiae the place hit by a Tsunami wave after an earthquake in 426 BC as described by Thucydides. The village Marouli (older Form Maroulion) is probably named after a byzantine leader in the region.
