Chalkiades (Greek: Χαλκιάδες) is a village in the south of the Larissa regional unit, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit of Polydamantas. In 2001 its population was 652. Chalkiades is located south of Larissa, west of Volos, north of Lamia and Farsala and southeast of Palamas and Karditsa.

Geography
Chalkiades is situated in the Pineios Valley in which farmlands surround the area.
History
Chalkiades has two settlements, Ano Chalkiades whose population originated from the refugees of Dela (now Tilkoy) in historic Cappadocia during the Greco-Turkish War, and Kato Chalkiades which came from other inhabitants. The origin of the name comes from the large iron.
