Achladea (or Achladia) is a mountain village just outside Aigio. The population of the settlement according to the 2011 census is 350 people [1].
General elements
It is surrounded by many olive trees and many acres of vineyards, raisins and grapes. It is quite close to the river Krokova. It belongs to the Municipality of Aigialeia. It was named so because many years ago when they went and lived there there were too many pears.
