Petrilo (Πετρίλον) Karditsa
Romanos [4] is a settlement near Pylos and belongs administratively to the Municipality of Pylos - Nestoros, in the Prefecture of Messinia.
Petrilo (until 1971 Cook [2]) is a mountain village in the Regional Unit of Karditsa (formerly a prefecture). It is built at an altitude of 1,160 meters, on the slopes of Agrafa, and is one of the most mountainous settlements in Thessaly.
Until 2010 it belonged to the Community of Athamanes, while since then it belongs to the Municipality of Argithea, of which it has been the historical seat since 2013. [2] Its population, according to the 2011 Census, is 52, [1] while in 2001 it had a population of 142. [3] Its inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry.
