Levaia is a village in the Regional Unit of Florina [1] with an altitude of 630 meters and a population of 919 inhabitants [2], according to the 2011 census. municipality of Amyntaio [3]. The village is located southeast of Amyntaio at a distance of 6.5 km. The old name of the village, until 1925, was Hellevi, so it was renamed Lakkia [4]. In 1988 it was renamed Levaia from the ancient city of Levaia (the first capital of the Macedonians). The archeological findings of the area are interesting.
