Kotili (Κωτίλι) Arkadia

Kotili [1] or Kotylio [2] is a village in the prefecture of Arcadia. As a settlement, it is officially mentioned, after the liberation, in 1835 with the name Dragoumanos being annexed to the then municipality of Thesis. In 1927 with the Government Gazette 306A - 22/12/1927 it was renamed Kotilion and in 1940 with 10/16/1940 it was corrected to Kotilion. In 2017 with the Government Gazette 58A - 24/04/2017 he returned to Kotylion. [3] According to the Kallikratis Plan, together with the Palace and the Round, they constitute the local community of Kotylio, which belongs to the municipal unit of Gortynos of the Municipality of Megaloupolis and according to the 2011 census has a population of 64 inhabitants [4], while in the 2001 census it had a population of 148 inhabitants.
