Fragkoskala (Φραγκόσκαλα) Aitoloakarnania

Fragkoskala is a semi-mountainous village in the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania [1] at an altitude of 203 meters [2] which is located south of the artificial lake of Kastraki and north of the stream Zervas. It is 21 km north of Agrinio. As a settlement it is officially mentioned in 1940 to be recorded in the then community of Sargiada [3]. According to the Kallikratis program, together with the settlements of Sargiada, Agia Varvara, Kokkinolongo, Lentini, Mavromyti and Potistiko, they constitute the local community of Sargiada that belongs to the municipal unit of Makrineia of the municipality of Agrinio and according to the 2011 census has 43 inhabitants.
