The Tholos or "beehive" tombs" were produced in the period 1510-1220 BC. Gigantic Grave Monuments for Mycenaean Rulers. The Treasury of Atreus is the most famous (another is the Tholos of Clytemnestra).

Coordinates: Longitude and Latitude 22° 45' East , 37° 44' North.
Cross Section of the Tholos. A Dome structure in the case of the Atreus Treasure height around 13.2 m. The dome was covered with earth.
Decoration of the Tholos. Probably the tomb was covered with elements such as rosettes like the stars in the heaven and with friezes.
