Ο Κιθ Νόελ Έμερσον (Keith Noel Emerson, 2 Νοεμβρίου 1944 - 11 Μαρτίου 2016) ήταν Άγγλος κιμπορντίστας και συνθέτης, με κλασική και τζαζ παιδεία. Έπαιξε μουσική στο Keith Emerson Trio, το συγκρότημα John Brown's Bodies, τους Gary Farr and the T-Bones, τους V.I.P.s και το συγκρότημα που συνόδευε επί σκηνής την P.P. Arnold, τους Nice[11]. O Έμερσον γνώρισε την πρώτη εμπορική επιτυχία του με το συγκρότημα Nice στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1960, πριν γίνει ιδρυτικό μέλος των Emerson, Lake and Palmer (ELP).
Οι Emerson, Lake and Palmer υπήρξαν από τα γνωστότερα συγκροτήματα progressive rock της εποχής. Όταν διαλύθηκαν οι ELP ο Έμερσον ακολούθησε σόλο καριέρα συνεργαζόμενος και με άλλα progressive συγκροτήματα της εποχής του. Μαζί με τους άλλους Βρετανούς συγχρόνους του Rick Wright των Pink Floyd, Tony Banks των Genesis, Rick Wakeman των Yes και Jon Lord των Deep Purple, θεωρείται ευρέως ως ένας από τους κορυφαίους κιμπορντίστες της εποχής του progressive rock[12][13][14][15]. Το AllMusic περιγράφει τον Έμερσον "τον μεγαλύτερο πιθανώς, και περισσότερο ολοκληρωμένο τεχνικά κιμπορντίστα στην ιστορία της ροκ".[16]
