Parachor is a quantity (related to surface tension) defined according to the formula:
P = γ1/4 M / d
where γ is the surface tension, M is the molar mass, and d is the density. Parachor has a volume multiplier and is therefore extensible from components to mixtures[1]. Parachor "has been used in solving various structural problems".[2]
