Wachwitz is a district of Dresden. Together with Loschwitz, it forms the statistical district of Loschwitz/Wachwitz and is part of the district of Loschwitz. Wachwitz is located directly on the Elbe on the Dresden Elbe slopes to the right of the river. It has been preserved as a village in its entire structure. The Dresden television tower rises directly above Wachwitz.
