Agamudaiyans, Madura District
Agamudayar (otherwise Agamudaiyar, Akamudayar, Agamudayan) are a Tamil community found in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. In Southern parts of Tamil Nadu, they are considered as one of the three clans which make up the Mukkulathor community ( besides kallar and maravar). They have been recognised as a warrior class ( Military class) since the sangam age. And they're the majority of people who constitute the mukkulathor community.
