Peter N. Skouras is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in both the United States and Greece. He also coached professionally in the National Professional Soccer League.
Player
In 1980, Skouras, brother of Costa Skouras, turned professional with the California Sunshine of the American Soccer League. In the fall of 1980, he signed with the San Diego Sockers in the North American Soccer League. He played two NASL indoor seasons, four NASL outdoor seasons and one Major Indoor Soccer League season with the Sockers. In 1984, Skouras moved to Greece and signed with Olympiacos F.C. He also had a spell in the Greek Super League with Diagoras F.C. during the 1987-88 season.[1]
Coach
On September 16, 1994, the Buffalo Blizzard of the National Professional Soccer League hired Skouras as head coach.[2] He lasted three matches before being replaced by Brian May.[3]
