Myrmidon (in Greek Mυρμιδων; lived 4th century BC) was an Athenian who commanded a force of ten thousand men, which formed part of the armament sent by Ptolemy I Soter, the son of Lagus, under his brother Menelaus, to effect the reduction of Cyprus, 315 BC. He was afterwards despatched to the assistance of Asander in Caria, against the generals of Antigonus Monophthalmus.1
