Mariliza Xenogiannakopoulou (Greek: Μαριλίζα Ξενογιαννακοπούλου, [mariˈliza ksenoʝanakoˈpulu]) (born 20 February 1963[1] in Athens[1]) is a Greek politician who from 2004-2007 was Member of the European Parliament for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement; part of the Party of European Socialists.
In the 2007 Greek legislative election she was elected to the Greek Parliament for an Athens constituency, and consequently resigned from the European Parliament.
On 7 October 2009 George Papandreou made Xenogiannakopoulou Minister for Health and Social Solidarity in his new government.[2]
