Giorgos Angelopoulos (alternate spellings: Georgios Aggelopoulos, George Angelopoulos, Georgios Angelopoulos) (Greek: Γιώργος Αγγελόπουλος) is a Greek businessman. Angelopoulos is a shipping magnate and a steel magnate. He is also the co-owner of the professional Greek League and Euroleague basketball team Olympiacos, along with his brother Panagiotis.[1] Giorgios Angelopoulos has an estimated wealth of US$1.4 billion. His brother Panagiotis Angelopoulos has an estimated wealth of US$1.7 billion.


Angelopoulos family

Angelopoulos is the son of the Greek shipping and steel magnate Jimmy Angelopoulos and the nephew of Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, who was named by Forbes Magazine as one of the world's 50 most powerful women. He is also the brother of Panagiotis Angelopoulos.

Personal Life

George was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on June 10, 1993. George Angelopoulos is currently enrolled in Marianopolis College. He is expected to make the NHL in the next couple of years. He wishes to become a lawyer while pursuing his illustrious hockey career.

He is a very skiled hockey player, who has a future.

He began his hockey career in the Express Laval organization at the age of 6. Notable pro scouts are dumbfounded with the skill that George Bada Bing brings to the table. Coach Jaques Martin said "George surely has a future in this league, hopefully we will be able to sign him before other teams do."
