Angelos Anastasiadis (Greek: Άγγελος Αναστασιάδης) (born 8 March 1953) is a Greek football head coach and former international footballer. He was the manager of Cyprus from 2004 to 2011. After leaving Greek Superleague team Platanias at the end of the 2012-13 season, he was re-signed on February 9, 2014.[1]

Football career

During his time in PAOK Anastasiadis was one of the most useful players that the team had, he could play in every position if it was needed. He scored PAOK's only goal against Barcelona in the team's away defeat 5-1 in Camp Nou.


International career
Coaching career

Anastasiadis was the coach of PAOK between February 1997 to June 1998 and September 1998 to March 1999. He then coached Panathinaikos F.C. (June 2000 to February 2001[2]) and Iraklis F.C..[3] He was named as coach of PAOK for second time in June 2002.[4] Anastasiadis was sacked by PAOK in September 2004.[5] In December 2004, he was named as coach of Cyprus, to replace Momčilo Vukotić.[6] His contract was renewed in November 2007.[7]
