Thesprotus

In Greek mythology, Thesprotus (Ancient Greek: Θεσπρωτός) may refer to two individuals:

Thesprotus, an Arcadian prince as son of King Lycaon either by the naiad Cyllene[1], Nonacris[2] or by unknown woman. He was the eponymous hero of Thesprotia was a son of Thesprotus' son was Ambrax eponymous of Ambracia.[3]
Thesprotus, king of the country where Lake Avernus is said to be, related to the myth of Thyestes and Atreus.
