Thelpusa (Greek Θέλπουσα, also known as Telphusa (Τέλφουσα) or Thelphusa (Θέλφουσα)) is an Arcadian naiad in Greek mythology. Her father was the river god Ladon. [1] It gave its name to the city of the same name Thelphusa. [2] The name of the nymph is documented several times in inscriptions, on Crete there was a sanctuary dedicated to her, probably Arcadian emigrants, so that a cult can also be assumed in Arcadia itself.
