In Greek mythology, Polynoe (Ancient Greek: Πουλυνόη Poulynoê means 'giver of reason'[1]) was one of the 50 Nereids, marine-nymph daughters of the 'Old Man of the Sea' Nereus and the Oceanid Doris.[2]
