In Greek mythology, Labdacus (Λάβδακος) was the son of Polydorus and a King of Thebes, ancestor of Oedipus. His father and mother died during his childhood and he was raised by Lycus. His descendants were called Labdacids or Labdacidae (Λαβδακίδαι), and included Oedipus, Laius, Antigone, Polynices, Eteocles and Ismene.
Labdacus, like Pentheus , opposed the cult of Dionysus, and underwent a similar fate.
