Dorion (ancient Greek Δώριον ) is in Greek mythology a daughter of Danaus, the king of Libya, from an Ethiopian mother. She is therefore one of the Danaids.
At the mass wedding of the 50 daughters of Danaus with the 50 sons of Aegyptus, at which lot decided on the pairing, their Cercetes, the son of a Phoenician mother, was assigned as husband. Like all her sisters with the exception of the Hypermestra, she killed her husband on their wedding night. [1]
