Damasius or Damasios or Damasias (Greek Δαμασίος or Δαμασίας) is in Greek mythology a son of Penthilus, son of Orestes of Mycenae with his half-sister Erigone. [1] He is the brother of Echelaos if Penthilus had two sons. Damasios fought in the defense of Achaia against the Heraclids under Aristomachus on the side of his uncle Tisamenus. [2] His son Agorius lived in the Achaean Helike at the time of Oxylus and was thus withdrawn from the rule of the Heraclids until Oxylus brought him to Elis.
