Chaldene (Greek Χαλδήνη) is the mistress of Zeus in Greek mythology. From this connection comes Solymus, the eponymous hero of the Solymnians, who were later called Pisidians. [1] Antimachus of Colophon calls it Kalchedonia (Καλχηδονία). [2]
