Bacchebacchus or Bakchebakchos (ancient Greek Βακχέβακχος) is in Greek mythology an epiclesis of Dionysus.
According to Hesychius of Alexandria, Dionysus was called to sacrifice by this name. It originated from the repetition of the name in the cry "O Bacchus, o Bacchus" (Βάκχε, Βάκχε). In the Knights of Aristophanes, the choir lets Ioulios sing a song of the name.
