Agelaus (ancient Greek Ἀγέλαος Agélaos) is one of the Heracleids in Greek mythology.
Agelaus is the son of Heracles and Omphale. According to the library of Apollodorus, the Lydian king Kroisos is descended from him,[1] whereas Herodotus names Alkaios as the progenitor of the Lydian royal house.[2]
In Palaiphatos the son of Herakles is named with the Omphale Laomedes,[3] in Diodorus[4] and Ovid[5] the name Lamos is found.
