The Atreus tholos tomb, of 13.4 m height, is preserved in excellent condition
and is the most imposing of all tholos tombs.
Part of the monumental facade's architectural decoration is displayed here,
while some fragments are kept in the British Museum.
The tomb's magnificent entrance is reconstructed based on existing evidence.
The two engraved columns which frame the door of 5.4 x 2.7 m
dimensions, and the part of the facade above it are decorated in relief.
