X 13397 : Bronze statuette of a naked youth probably an athlete

In his extended right arm he would have held a phiale.
It belongs to the group of athletes making libations.
The inlaid eyes were made of a different material, possibly alabaster. It is a classizing creation
based on works of the 5th c. B.C.
